"Ramattan Cultural Center recently hosted a distinguished cultural evening organized by Dr. Jamal Shiha Foundation for Education, Culture, and Sustainable Development, in collaboration with the African Foundation for Education and Capacity Building.

"Taha Hussein and the Palestinian Cause," the event paid tribute to the dean of Arabic literature, Taha Hussein, and explored his influence on the Palestinian cause.
The event brought together a distinguished group of intellectuals and writers, including Dr. Jamal Shiha, Dr. Kamal Maghit, the renowned writer Youssef Al-Qaeid, journalist and writer Sobhi Moussa, and journalist Iman Raslan.
The program included a visit to the Ramattan Museum, where attendees were inspired by Taha Hussein's creative environment and personal belongings. Additionally, a discussion on Sobhi Moussa's book "Transformations of Culture in Egypt" took place, offering valuable insights into the evolution of Egyptian culture.
The evening concluded with a poetic performance by young poet Jana al-Halawani, who captivated the audience with her poem about Egypt.
The event aimed to highlight the role of intellectuals in preserving cultural heritage, encourage dialogue on cultural and intellectual issues, and shed light on the importance of the Palestinian cause in the Arab consciousness."
