"The activities of the Taha Hussein project are scheduled to continue throughout 2003 at the rate of three meetings per month dealing with several issues raised by the Dean of Arabic Literature through his writings, articles, and studies, pointing out that the idea that the project table is bringing together this month journalists with their great popularity is a step towards activating the role of the media in reviving the legacy of thinkers, writers, and symbols of Arab culture as one of the mechanisms that will improve public taste and enhance the awareness of the collective mind on many issues in a way that links authenticity, contemporary, promotes, and consolidates the concepts of Arab identity and nationalism," said Prof. Dr. Gamal Shiha
Relatedly, Hassan Ghazaly, the Anthropologist researcher and the general coordinator of the cultural program "Taha Hussein a project for the future," explained that the choice of the theme of the meeting under the title "Taha Hussein's Testament for Egyptians" came to get to know the Dean's speech, how he enlightened the Egyptians’ thoughts, how his message was, what issues he addressed, and his testaments in each of them, pointing out that the importance of these axes comes from the great need of our societies for ideas that make for a better tomorrow, for a conscious generation, and for a methodology and an intellectual and enlightenment vision, which the association is working to promote, consolidate, and build in minds and among the mass circles
