Dr. Gamal Sheha Foundation for Education, Culture, and Sustainable Development, in collaboration with the Egyptian Evangelical Coptic Organization for Social Services, organized a children's cinema club and a storytelling session for women

The Dr. Gamal Sheha Foundation for Education, Culture, and Sustainable Development, in collaboration with the Egyptian Evangelical Coptic Organization, organized a special event as part of the "Together Toward a Better Community" initiative, which aims to enhance culture, societal awareness, and empower individuals.
A presentation was also made to showcase the activities carried out under the "Together Toward a Better Community" initiative during the visit of representatives from the Egyptian Evangelical Organization.
The children's cinema club was one of the standout activities, where a collection of animated films created from children's drawings were shown, such as "The Village of Tunes" and "Bridge of Communication." These films addressed important developmental and social issues in an enjoyable and impactful way for children. The club was supervised by Dr. Marwa Abdel Moneim, who provided the children with an innovative cinematic experience.
As part of the women's dialogue session, a constructive conversation was held regarding the challenges and issues women face in their daily lives and how to approach them in a healthy and positive way. The session was supervised by Dr. Wafa Talaat, a psychological counselor and family therapist, who provided the women with tools to handle psychological and social challenges in a professional manner, in an environment of listening and constructive interaction.
We were honored with the distinguished presence of the following representatives from the Egyptian Evangelical Organization:
- Dr. Hiba Yousry (Director of Local Dialogue Programs), who shared valuable insights on how to promote community dialogue.
- Dr. Bishoy Zayed (Deputy Director of Local Dialogue Programs), who contributed his vision on the importance of joint community work.
- Mr. Giovanni Adel (Project Coordinator), who managed the project efficiently and made this event possible.
Additionally, some guests from the Egyptian Evangelical Organization were present.
This event had a profound impact on strengthening communication among community members and deepening awareness of their shared issues, as the attendees interacted with the different activities and expressed their appreciation for the opportunities provided in an atmosphere of cooperation and participation.
At the Dr. Gamal Shehata Foundation, we believe in the importance of joint cooperation to build a better community based on education, culture, and sustainable development, and we will continue to strive to achieve this goal.
